In the winter of 2014, we travelled to the headquarters of climbing manufacturer DMM in Llanberis, North Wales. Over three days, we took a tour behind the scenes of their manufacturing process to learn how climbing gear goes from an idea on a whiteboard to a product on your harness. In modern climbing manufacture, DMM are unique in that all stages of the production process take place at a single site. This allows the brand to have incredible oversight and input at every stage of the process ensuring a truly quality product for you, the consumer.
