Elias Comfort - Pass, Now and Future

For fifteen days now I've been in New York. Over aFacebook chat, Christian Mahieu proposes to meet the actor of Elephant by Gus Van Sant. He gave me his address and I contacted the man so that we meet in the coming days. Pretty excited to see us, Elias agrees to meet in a Diner : Cheeseburgers for both of us! After discussing his life and career, we went on the nearby High Line from our lunch spot to make the video that I proposed below. After shooting for Gus Van Sant, Elias became very ill due to some LSD put in his drink at a party. This is a man in fthe process of rebuilding himself that I met, an artist who turned to poetry to reenergize and to simply find himself. From Elephant and Paris I love You (with Gaspard Ulliel), Elias McConnell changed his name to fully integrate « Comfort ». Then he published a second book of poetry, he is struggling today to make a comeback as an actor and share his passion for music. As a feminist, he fights against American Apparel, rap culture and other Terry Richardson that demean women.
