Liz Seaver, a 21 year old singer songwriter from Skerries, Co. Dublin, began gigging with her material at 16. Liz began working in a local music centre called Troy Horse after attending one of their well known Songschool workshops at school. Here she gained confidence musically and began to learn the skill of recording and live performing with the co owners, Peter Baxter and Chris Teusner as mentors. Her first major gig was a support slot for Damien Dempsey some other supports include Albert Niland, Mickey Harte, John Jorgenson and Honor Heffernan.
Liz's other ventures include playing with local bands, most memorable being The Wonderbraz on bass. Liz also accompanied Matt Lunson on piano and vocals for a time, which took her to venues such as The Spirit Store in Dundalk and Crawdaddy of Harcourt Street with supports including Dave Geraghty (BellX1) and Ollie Cole (Turn).
Other venues Liz has played include the Temple Bar Music Center, Whelans, Eammon Dorans, the Village, the Hub & Slattery's of Rathmines.
In 2005 Liz began with the assistance and guidance of Peter and Chris to put together and record her debut album 'til the day fades in' using their studio and knowledge. Since that Liz has been doing different recording projects most recently with Donal Lunny. Liz learnt alot from this experience and put her new recording skills into practice recently as she has just finished a new 3 track Demo. She worked with engineer Andy Knightley along with musicians and friends Eddie Scanlan and Sharon Hussey.
