Maya Chantout, the daughter of a Syrian father and a Palestinian mother, grew up in Damascus before moving to Paris in 2012 to study fashion at the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. She has worked for some of the biggest fashion houses like Hermès, Chloé and Celine, as well as winning the LVMH Young Graduates Award. Maya now works as an art director and image consultant for many fashion brands such as Mirae, Casablanca, Miu Miu and Polite Worldwide.
