Chanel Métiers d'Art: from the Paris atelier to the show in Hamburg

Welcome into the legendary Rue de Cambon ateliers, just a few hours before the Chanel Métiers d'Art show in Hamburg, Karl Lagerfeld's hometown. Shown in the architectural nest of the recently-renovated Elbphilharmonie, this was a pre-collection inspired by a city characterized by its waters and its industries, with marine touches, mini-container clutches and a color palette inspired by the sun's reflections on the Elbphilharmonie. Discover how the Chanel DNA was chanelled into the collection show in the city's musical hub, as we follow the development of two garments from Karl Lagerfled's first sketch, right throurgh to the runway.
