par News Assurances

Ashton West, Chief Executive of the MIB, answers to News Insurances on how or why the UK has such a history in uninsured driving, then outlines how the Continuous Insurance Enforcement scheme is welcomed by the public and finally comes back on the claims history in the UK. In the UK there are some 5% of uninsured drivers are on the roads which is much more than the European average which tends to be around 1%. Some of the reasons evoked by the chief executive include a lack of enforcement and a method to effectively deduce the vehicles that were not insured. The Continuous Insurance Enforcement scheme has lead to 10,000 letters a week being sent out. Ashton West says : "the reaction generally has been supportive of what we are trying to do , I often say there is no lobby for the uninsured drivers. There is a combination of elements that drive these costs up such as personal injury claims encouragement, referral fees, insurance fraud with 'crash for cash' induced accidents, etc. View all of our videos here : http://www.newsinsurances.co.uk/toutes-les-videos
