Karadane chooses ColorWorks

Karadane, an olive grower based in Turkey, uses the ColorWorks C3500 colour label printer to move their labelling operation in-house. Karadane produces a number of different olive products, including olive oil. They manage all stages of production and procedures in house, including agriculture, marination, pasteurisation, taste improvement and packaging. Labelling was the only thing they were outsourcing. By doing this, it meant that any slight change to the labels required Karadane to discard thousands of pre-printed stock labels, costing the company money. However, after meeting with Epson at an exhibition, they decided to purchase the ColorWorks C3500 colour label printer and move their labelling operations in-house. Now they can make all changes to the labels themselves, without any extra inventory cost. The can also print labels in any amount, using different colours and designs, any time they need them. This flexibility allowed them to keep costs down and reduce the amount of label stock.
