As of today motorists will begin to receive official warning letters. This is the first step of the new Continuous Insurance Enforcement scheme set up jointly by the UK government and the insurance sector to fight against rising costs of the motor insurance market. Motorist have been warned that any vehicle that has no proper insurance or off the road notification will be subject to a system of escalating penalties going all the way the complete destruction of the vehicle. The Drivers and Vehicle Licencing Agency will compare their records with the Motor Insurance Database to identify the owners of uninsured vehicles. Swiss Life has announced this week, during a press conference held at their head office in Paris France, the launch of a new E-reputation insurance product for those eager to protect their online reputation. Pierre François, CEO of P&C Business for Swiss Life, talks about Swiss Life's global strategy, and maybe the future distribution of such a product in other countries in Europe.
