HP is the official technology provider for The Plastiki, a one-of-a-kind 60-foot catamaran created out of reclaimed plastic bottles, self-reinforced PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and recycled materials. See how HP technology helps the Plastiki stay on course and connected. Sailed by environmental activist David de Rothschild and his crew, The Plastiki recently completed a momentous 10,000-mile voyage from San Francisco to Sydney, Australia to draw attention to the health of our oceans, in particular the colossal amounts of plastic debris.
