The MICHELIN Guide presents a series designed to show the complicity between a producer and a chef. We went to the town of Valletta, to meet Josef Farrugia and David Buttigieg, chef of the MICHELIN-selected Restaurant The Harbour Club. Located in the historic town of Valletta, The Harbour Club is befitting of its name, as its sun-drenched terrace boasts impressive views over Malta’s naturally occurring Grand Harbour. Built in the 18C as an ice house, the building provides a unique and intimate setting, and is certainly the perfect place for dinner with a view. Chef David Buttigieg’s cooking is creative in its conception and attractively presented, and his dishes showcase top quality produce sourced from across the island. In this video we take a look at his relationship with one of his producers, Josef Farrugi, who supplies him with lovingly grown, freshly picked ingredients for the restaurant.
