I spent quite a lot of time surfing the net comparing the various types of body shapes, find my physical reference and to be knowledgeable about the different types of body shapes out there. I discovered ES COLLECTION looking at stunning photos of beautiful models with Greek Gods like bodies, wearing original swimwear. For a few seconds, I thought of how lucky these guys were to be modeling for such a famous brand as well as working for photographer as talented as Joan Crisol. I like challenges and my moto in life being "if you don't try you don't get". In 2010, I decided to make contact with the brand ES Collection via their website and forwarded them my personal profile. Edu (ES's Managing Director) and Joan Cristol contacted me to become the new model for their ES Collection advertising campaign!! The photoshoot not only resulted in stunning photos but also the beginning of a true friendship between Edu, Joan and I. They welcomed me with respect and I am grateful for that. We stayed in touch via FaceBook! We did more photoshoots for the swimwear range and the "Athletic wear" brand so much so that I became Joan's most photographed model! Proud to be an ES model and a real fan of the clothing range. I promote the brand by wearing it at work and in my day to day life, as well as publishing my ES modelling photos on magasine covers and my Facebook page interviews. I also have a YouTube channel where I post the "making offs" of the ES shootings and my sport coaching website where all the ES photos can be seen. To thank me for my efforts, in June 2011, ES designed a tank top sporting my name on it as well a website as a gift to my clients and they absolutely loved it!! Most of my clients were already aware of the brand name and one day, one of them asked if it was possible for ES Collection to design T-shirts and shorts with my name on it as I was their key model. So in September 2011 I put the idea forward to Edu and the clothing range David costa by ES Collection was born. I started thinking up on the style and design of sportwear that I personally would want to wear and brainstormed with ES's Collection stylists. On numerous occasions I travelled to Barcelona in order to fine-tune the cuts, fabrics and colors that would create a line of sport clothe which would not only look athletic but also sexy! Joan Crisol and I did a few photoshoots in Madrid and Barcelona and the launch of the clothing range "David Costa by ES Collection" was launched within a year!
